Regarding Humanity is a digital space for social impact professionals, designers, journalists, filmmakers and students to foster dialogue on respectful, relevant and resonant storytelling. As sensational images of poverty are often used to frame issues of humanitarian aid to advocate for a cause, design programs or raise funds. The purpose of this platform is to shift the attitude towards people living in poverty as “victims” and see them as people capable and determined to define their own future.
Ruchika researched, curated and designed the content as well as website. in designing the content and physical website to launch this project. First step was to research, aggregate, synthesize and organize content. Then, a naming/branding workshop to give the project an identity and define the parameters of the project. And lastly, designing the information flow and wireframes to then build a website.
